NHPGA Summer Meeting
Wednesday, July 26th, 2017, 3-7 PM
Black Forest Nursery, Boscawen, NH
The Summer Meeting will start with an informal guided tour of Black Forest Nursery by Suzanne and Nancy. After the tour, we'll take a step back in time and immerse ourselves in the unique 18th century New England setting offered by the Winthrop Carter House. This historic house has stately architecture and is framed by lovely perennial gardens and a soaring 18th century barn.
We’ve booked Peter Konjoian of Konjoian’s Horticultural Educational Services to discuss, “Participating in the Locally Grown Food Movement.” Ryan Dickson of UNH Cooperative Extension will lead a Round Table Discussion on “Current Trends in Retail, Consumer Purchasing, and Production.” Also get an update on the NHPGA’s Plant Something NH campaign presented by Program Manager, Felicia LaBranche. Learn how you can incorporate this marketing campaign into your own advertising. A business meeting and light meal will follow.
